Enrico L. Ruffy

Enrico L. Ruffy, M.D., 63, of Valdosta passed away Friday, September 03, 2010 in South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on September 12, 1946 in the Philippines to the late Ramon and Albina (Ledesma) Ruffy. He was one of the specialists at the Diabetes Management Center at South Georgia Medical Center. He was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church.  Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Mariqueta Ruffy, M.D. and brother, Ramon Ruffy, Jr.

He is survived by his sister and Brother-in-law, Alma and John Murray of Brooklyn, N.Y.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. Mauro L. and Elsie B. Ruffy of Manhasset, N.Y., Jose L. and Priscilla Ruffy of Middle Village, N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Ma. Carazon Ruffy of Vancouver, B.C.; a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, in the St. Johns Catholic Church, 800 Gornto Road, Valdosta, Ga., 31602, with burial to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept., 4, 2010, and Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. A Rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at the funeral home.
