Edith Rebecca Jordan Pittman, 73, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Clinch Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Pittman was born, Feb. 13, 1938, in Ware County, to the late Kenneth Rosco Jordan and Edith Daisy Smith Jordan. She was a homemaker and attended the Fruitland Church of God.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Long; and one brother, Jimmy Jordan.
Survivors are her husband, R.B. Pittman, Homerville; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jimmy Smith; one son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Debbie Pittman, all of Homerville; one sister, Alice Holmes, Briceville, Fla.; one brother, Alfred Eugene Jordan, Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren, Blake and Kristen Pittman, Kyle and Tori Pittman, Erin Pittman, Greer and Stephanie Smith, Megan and Dustin O’Neal, and Ali Smith; eight great-grandchildren, Lily-Ana Pittman, Jonah Pittman, Braydee Pittman, Tucker Pittman, Kellan Smith, Raife O’Neal, Gavin Coleman and Garrison Coleman; and several other relatives.
Service for Mrs. Pittman will be held Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at 3 p.m. at New Vision Church of God. Internment will be in Pine Forest Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today at Roundtree Funeral Home.
