Mildred Gertrude Rash

Mildred Gertrude Rash, 73, of Lake Park passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012 at Heritage Healthcare. She was born on July 18, 1938 in Boston, Mass. to the late William and Gertrude Shepherd Curtin. Mildred was a retired property manager with Consolidated Management of Southfield, Michigan, was a member of Lake Park Church of God and recently recommitted her life to Christ.

She is survived by her daughters, Deanna Tillet of Washington Township, Mich. and Kelly Van Kleef of Warren, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Amanda, Jessica, Matthew, Katie, Adam and Tara; three great-grandchildren, Taia Tillet, Christopher Tillet, Jr., and Hunter Thomas Tillet; her son-in-law, Lee Van Kleef and his wife, Carole of Lake Park; her brother, Neal Curtin of Orion Township, Mich.; and her sister, Flo Parnell of Boston, Mass. Mildred is preceded in death by her sister, Teri Walsh and her brother, Billy Curtin.

A memorial service will be held in conjunction with the morning worship service at Lake Park Church of God on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012 with Dr. Keith Sandlin officiating.
