Girls cross country: Suwannee runs against Bradford

The Suwannee High School girls cross country team ran against Bradford High school on Tuesday. Both teams decided to run and score their middle school runners as well. The final score was Bradford 22, Suwannee 35.


The first place runner overall was Katie Stalvey from Suwannee. This was a very impressive victory for her, considering one of her opponents was last year’s district champion. The other top runner for Suwannee was Megan Ellis. She placed fifth overall.


The team’s next race is Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Alligator Lake Invitational in Lake City.
