SHS cross country: Girls win Aucilla Warrior Run

The Suwannee High School girls cross country team won the Aucilla Warrior Run on Saturday, Oct. 4. The team scores were Suwannee, 19; Aucilla, 36; and Florida High, 78.

Top runners for Suwannee were:

Natalie Lord, third, 23:35

Alexis Thompson, fifth, 24:49

Alexis Brown, sixth, 24:58

Megan Ellis, seventh, 25:07

Meredith Lord, eighth, 25:27

The team’s next big race is the Cedar Key Invitational on Thursday.
