SHS cross country teams compete in Tallahassee

Tim Choe finished 17th at the Cougar Challenge.

Tallahassee — On Saturday, the Suwannee High cross country teams competed at the Cougar Challenge in Tallahassee.

The girls placed 10th out of 20 teams. The boys placed 13th out of 22 teams.

The top runners for the girls were Alexis Thompson and Natalie Lord.

Thompson placed 34th and Lord finished 40th. There were more than 200 girls in the race.

The top runners for the boys were Micah Hilliard and Tim Choe. Hilliard came in 13th with Choe finishing 17th. There were more than 250 boys in the race.

The team’s next race will be Sept. 8 at Heritage Park in Live Oak at 3:30 pm. Please enter and park next to the playground.
