Faircloth resigns from Valdosta State

VALDOSTA — Dr. Myron Faircloth, a Valdosta State University assistant professor of nursing, has resigned from VSU effective December 15, according to Jessica Pope, VSU’s communications and media relations coordinator.

Earlier this year, Faircloth got into a dispute with the university over an open records request for his personnel file that would have cost $7,000. The cost was later reduced and the matter resolved.
