Nadine Hires Tate

Mrs. Nadine Hires Tate, 73, of Adel, Georgia, passed away November 28, 2014 at her residence.
She was born July 28, 1941 in Pavo, Georgia, to the late Wilora Hires and Leona Mae Beckham Hires. She worked as a Pharmacist tech and lived most of her life in Cook County. Mrs. Tate was a member of The Enon Baptist Church in Coolidge, Georgia.
Mrs. Tate is survived by her son, Lavon Tate, of Adel, Georgia; Her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Tate Knight and Lee Knight, of Valdosta, Georgia; two grandsons, Cole Grier and Cameron Grier, and her granddaughter, Stevie Tate Wilson, all of Valdosta, Georgia; four brothers, Ralph Hires, of Coolidge, Georgia, Lamar and Ann Hires, of Coolidge, Georgia, Lynwood and Rhonda Hires, of Brevard, North Carolina, Alfred Hires, of Ray City, Georgia; her sister and brother-in-law, Lenora Hires Walton and David Walton, of Ochlocknee, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by husband of 44 years, Rabuen “ R.T. “ Tate; and her three brothers, Randolph Hires, Aaron Hires and James Hires.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November, 30, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Boone Funeral Home South 41 Chapel, 1804 S. Hutchinson Avenue, in Adel, Georgia with Pastor Larry Cox, Jr., officiating. The family will be receiving friends Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex. — Boone Funeral Home.
