Eunice Robin Montgomery

Mrs. Eunice Robin Montgomery, 77, of Naylor, Ga., passed away June 18, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center Lanier Campus in Lakeland, Ga.  She was born Jan. 19, 1938 in Cook County to her late parents, Erby Lowery and Bamer Lee Thombley Lowery and resided in Lowndes County for the past 55 years.  She was a member of Naylor Baptist Church and served her family as a homemaker and was also retired from ABC Home Health as a CNA.

Mrs. Montgomery is survived by her husband of 61 years, Lee Roy Montgomery; a son and daughter-in-law, Virgil and Karen Montgomery;  daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Ricky Roberts, all of Naylor; five grandchildren: Joseph and Candace Montgomery of Stockton, Ga., Heather Montgomery of Tifton, Ga., Ricky and Rachel Roberts, Jr., Jerry and Darla Roberts, Justin and Laurie Roberts, all of Naylor; eight great-grandchildren: Drake, Cason, Cade, Lane, Addy, and Pierce Roberts, all of Naylor, and Trent Lee Montgomery and Haylee Michelle Montgomery, both of Stockton; and a sister, Dorothy Reid of Ft. Worth, Texas.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed and Emmett Lowery, and two sisters, Evie Montgomery and Ruby Wilkerson.

The Montgomery family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, June 20, 2015  at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., in Adel.  The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2015 in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Williams, the Rev. Darren Hardeman, and the Rev. Dewayne Stokes officiating.  Interment will follow in  Good Hope Cemetery in Naylor.
