Ryan Fitton

Ryan Fitton, 29, of Lakeland, Ga. passed away Friday morning, May 29, 2015 at Tift Regional Center. He was born in Orlando, Fla. on Sept. 18, 1985 to John and Tina Fitton. He graduated from Lanier County High School in 2004 and received certificates in graphic design and air conditioning maintenance from Wiregrass Technical College. Ryan loved fishing, floating down the Alaphaha River and riding his 4-wheeler down dirt roads with lots of friends. He was a member of Lakeland United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lilo Fitton and beloved uncle, Skip Byerly.

Survivors include mother and father, John and Tina Fitton of Lakeland; brother, Ian Fitton of Atlanta; sister, Diana Jones of Orlando; beloved nieces Taylor and Mya Jones of Orlando; maternal grandmother, Sandi Brown of Lakeland; grandfather and grandmother, Charles and Bonnie Brown of Ray City; paternal grandfather, Gordon Fitton of Australia and numerous aunts, uncles and extended family.

His wishes were to be cremated and have friends and family gather at his home to share memories, stories, photos and laughter along with our grief. We will gather at 69 West Bostick Road, Lakeland, Ga. 31635 Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. Dress is “Ryan Casual.” In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice or a blood donation given to the American Red Cross.
