Father Daughter Dance returns for 16th year

- Picture taking will start at 5 p.m. at the UGA Conference Center, with the music and dancing starting at 6 p.m. and lasting until 9 p.m.
TIFTON — The Tiftarea YMCA 16th Annual Father Daughter Dance is set for Thursday, Feb. 15.
The theme for this year’s dance is Rapunzel.
The dance runs 6-9 p.m. at the UGA-Tifton Conference Center
The price for tickets is is $45 per couple ($55 if purchased after Monday, Feb. 12), with $15 per additional daughter.
Money raised goes to support scholarships for YMCA youth programs.
“It goes into scholarships for youth sports, after school programs, summer camps,” said Jason Bishoff, sports and program director for Tiftarea YMCA. “It all goes back to the youth in the community.”
Tickets include dinner, dancing, entertainment and a 4×6 photo.
Tickets are available at Tiftarea YMCA’s main office at 1657 Carpenter Road.
