Man arrested for molestation

Arthur Monroe Gilbert, 23, of 108 SW Church Ave. Live Oak, was arrested for lewd and lascivious molestation on Dec. 10, according to Live Oak Police Department reports.

Det. Sgt. Ron Shaw of the LOPD responded to a report that Gilbert had fondled

a thirteen-year-old girl, say reports.

Following interviews with the victim and Gilbert, Gilbert was arrested. According to police, Gilbert later confessed to the crime. As of Friday, Gilbert remained in jail under a $50,000 bond.
