…A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN FLAGLER…SOUTH

CENTRAL ST. JOHNS AND EASTERN PUTNAM COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM EDT…

At 657 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

San Mateo, or near East Palatka, moving south at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…

Crescent City, Pomona Park, Hastings, Andalusia, East Palatka,

Federal Point, Orange Mills, San Mateo, and Lake Como.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to

localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.
