DASHER — The Georgia Christian Middle School girls basketball team entered as underdogs but delivered a big performance on Feb. 1, defeating Southwest Georgia Academy to capture the GIAA Region 3-AA championship.

Finishing the season with a 10-2 record, the Lady Generals proved they were a force to be reckoned with.

Under the leadership of first-year head coach Lora McMullen and assistant coach Liz James, the team displayed grit and determination in the championship game. they Lady Generals persevered and rose to the occasion, emerging as region champions.
