MACON — Brookwood’s Warriors survived their fourth challenge of 2024-25 from Valwood Saturday, ending the Valiants’ season in the quarterfinals of the GIAA Class 3A state tournament, 79-29.

Playing at First Presbyterian Day, Valwood matched the Warriors for the initial basket — a jump shot by Richard Hunter — but struggled with No. 1 Brookwood’s size and speed.
